Description
We were invited to look at designs for a garden room for a lovely couple in Nazeing Common on their newly built property.
They had some great ideas of what they required and drawings were produced. Once approved, we were instructed to supply and install a purpose made European green oak garden room.
Installation started in the middle of January and with our client using their own roofer they had used on previous projects, we finished the first fix within a few days, so the roofing company could start. Due to one of the harshest winters in a few years, work halted on site for a few weeks until the roof could be completed. Once roof work had been completed we were back to site to start second fix, installing the purpose made roof light, bi-folding doors and fixed double glazed units with prime European oak cover timbers.
This gave the stunning features and exposed rafters you can see in the photos. The client has used this room as a great addition to their lovely home and has asked us back to design a European green oak three bay cart lodge with one of the openings to be a closed garage. Also another addition to the house will be a European green oak log store down the side of the property.
